Twilight Movie...Future Events
So girls...what did you think? I was a big fan of the jumping through the trees scene, even though it wasn't in the book. How fun would that be!?
And the other reason for the post is to ask what we are reading for next month's get together. I better have a baby by then and hopefully a few spare moments to read as well. So what's it gonna be, Tieya?

Heck YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!
Movie News Flash!
So, many of you have heard that the release of the sixth Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, has been moved from this Thanksgiving to next summer. First and foremost, please know that this schedule change has absolutely nothing to do with Twilight, me, or Summit Films (so enough with the imdb death wishes, okay?). This is Warner Bros. decision, and it was not motivated by anything Twilight-related.
Now for the good news! Though we're all sad to have to wait for Harry Potter, this open spot at the theater creates a cool opportunity. The good people at Summit were thrilled to let me know that now Twilight fans are going to get their movie three weeks earlier than scheduled. That's right—Twilight will be released in theaters November 21st! Let the merry-making commence!

Just a note...
So I haven't posted anything in a while...so I thought I would write a little something. I think our book club is going really well...no matter how dumb our husbands think we are!! So we've decide that when it is your month to host our little get together you get to pick the book that we are "supposed" to discuss. So come prepared to let everyone know the month before you are supposed to be the host. It's also up to the host to send out invites to remind everyone...email seems to be easiest. August is a no brainer!! We will all be reading Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. I think we have all eagerly waited for this book to come out...and it will probably be the first month that we will all read the book that is picked! Anyway, I hope you are all having fun with this like I am...it gives me an excuse to get away from the hubby and kids!
See ya on the 15th!! Thought you might enjoy this pic... :)

Also my birthday is Friday June 20th. If we can't switch that one it is fine because it isn't at my house. Let me know!!

March Meeting!!
Okay, we are doing this month's meeting on the 21st instead of the 14th. I've talked to some of you and I agree that the 3rd Friday of every month would work out best so that we can always plan on it being that day. Also, I don't know if all of you finished reading Wuthering Heights, but this will give us an extra week! So Friday, March 21, 2008 at 7:30 PM at Leslie's house! Also we are just having dessert...so make sure you eat dinner!! I will send out invitations about a week before just as a reminder...but come prepared with some suggestions of books to read and we'll try to compile a list of what we will be reading each month. Happy reading!!

New Book Club Blog!!
Hello Everyone!
I thought this would be a fun and less confusing way to keep track of what we are reading. I have invited everyone I could think of to have permission to post on this blog. But if you have someone that you want to invite just let me know so that I can add them.
We had our first official book club "meeting" on the 15th of this month, and I thought it was really fun! Although not everyone read the book assigned (only two of us did) it was still fun to see everyone and catch up on all our crazy lives. We spent some time talking about all the different books we were all reading or have read. And then we spent some time venting about our husbands and eating yummy food! It was a true "Girls Night Out" and I think we all deserve one of those more often! We hope that more of you will be able to attend next month!
We decided to read Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte for our March meeting. So those of you who have not read it...you better get crackin' (myself included)! We are meeting on March 14th at Leslie's house again (unless someone else wants to volunteer) at about 7 pm. I will send invitations out again about a week before. Until then please feel free to post blogs about books you've read, your reading now, or want to read. Also, share any fun recipes that we may want to try at our meetings!!
